Refuting Rajiv Malhotra: Episode 4 – Malhotra’s Caste Theory Busted by Traditional Hindu Scholars
Rajiv Malhotra in his book “Breaking India” as well as in his talks at universities such as Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) proposes a spurious caste theory that caste (varna) system was non hierarchical and flexible before British Empire ruled in India. In his book “Battle for Sanskrit” as well as in interviews for “Battle For Sanskrit” he comes up with non-merit criteria that Sanskrit books should be interpreted by traditional Sanskrit scholars.
While as ridiculous this criteria is and as spurious as his caste/varna theory is, Narender Sahoo and Jerry Thomas of Sakshi Apologetics Network objectively and impartially examines this thesis even by applying the criteria proposed by Rajiv Malhotra and demonstrates that caste/varna in Hindu scriptures and Dharma Shastras are anything but non-hierarchical and flexible and it was oppressive and dehumanizing.
This episode examines such epic flip flops of Breaking India authors and other Hindutva spoke persons. Watch and subscribe to our channel by VISITING THIS LINK for future episodes.
