Hi..
Shalom aleichem
This was a nice presentation but I must say this – a very weak argument. i wud have surely come to ur program if it was in Chennai or Kerala, and also if u publicize it.. and please next time if u keep something in Chennai or Kerala, do publicize it and keep it in some big ground or a big hall..im sure if u publicize it u will get more people…not like this small hall(I guess)….
So.. you started this video with quoting from ur bible…
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Why did you quote john 3:16 here, since its says begotten???
why didn’t you quote Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. It says David is also Begotten son of god.
Another thing with this verse is , you are quoting john 3:16 from KJV, can u please show me this word “begotten” in the RSV or NRSV in the same verse- john 3:16. Christian scholars , the eminent Christian scholars have changed or thrown out the word begotten.
Alright, coming to your main topic, you started telling that it has been mentioned 136 times about crucifixion, and you were telling that Muslim scholars said they will accept Christianity if you show them.
You are wrong here.
You know what, as far as I know, Dr Zakir Naik and Ahmed Deedat (you were quoting them, that’s y im using their names here) never said like they will accept Christianity if u show them unequivocal statement of crucifixion. Rather they have asked this, “show me one unequivocal statement were Jesus(pbuh) himself says ‘I’m God’ or ‘worship me’… this is what most of the scholars ask. They are not asking you to show were crucifixion has been mentioned.
Now im asking you the same question, im not a scholar, show me one unequivocal statement were Jesus(pbuh) himself says ‘I’m God’ or ‘worship me’.
You should have SIMPLY mentioned verse Matthew 17:21 from NRSV or RSV . Because im not able to find that verse in those versions. Did the eminent Christian scholars forgot to write or god told them to omit that verse. I just found it is missing wen I was reading it.
Anyhow, since you mentioned about crucifixion and quoted few verses out of ur 136, it is contradicting with so many other verses which says was alive,
1. He beseeched God for help. He cried and prayed. Matt. 26:39 “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
2. Mathew 27:46 Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani??? y was he crying on the cross if he is dying for ur sin…he was crying n praying to the creator of this world, am I correct??
3. Matt. 12:40 “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
4. Matt. 27:62-64 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, 63 saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’ 64 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night[a] and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.”.
5. John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’
6. Luke 24:39 “Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have”
7. Luke 22:36 Hebrew 5:7 Luke 22:43 John 18:38 Mathew 27:19 john 19:34 psalms 24:20 mark 15:44 john 20:1 john 21:4 Luke 24:23 mark 16:11
So if you show me 136 times, what are above versus means. And what is the below verse means, he was dead??? ;
Luke Ch. 24 -39 to 43 Behold my hands and feet – Its I myself. Handle me and see – that a spirit has got no flesh and bones as you see me have. And he gave his hands and feet – And they were overjoyed. To prove what? that he was not a spirit or God Almighty. Jesus proves, A spirit has no flesh and bones, as I have proving that he was not a spirit – he was not Almighty God…
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’
Coming to your next statement;
you mentioned “Un changing scriptures” in ur presentation. U quoted few verses from Holy Quran.
I am not able to understand, why did you quote those versus…of course the Holy Quran mentions the earlier scriptures Torah, Zaboor and injeel. It was revealed to the respective messengers for that time. And Of course Mohammed is been prophesized in ur bible. We Muslims respect all the scriptures.
What is your doubt in this. Since those scriptures revealed by Allah, how can it be corrupted, is this ur doubt?????
If this is ur doubt, u should ask ur Christian friends or ur church.
I am asking you now Who corrupted it??? Where is the original version???
You asked a question in ur presentation that if the torah and injeel was thr before and after Mohammed (pbuh) then who corrupted it. You also asked another question by quoting a verse from Holy Quran, where Allah says he will protect the previous revelations and how can the bible be corrupted.
Brother, Allah didn’t revealed it in English. Where is the original language? ?? The English version (or any other language which is not original) which u r reading now is corrupted. The human being who has translated the original bible, you have to catch them and ask the following questions;
– Y did they change the meaning of some verses
– And why did they omit and erased few verses
You should ask them, not Muslim. We respect the revelations which were brought down.
I will show u an example;
Solomon 5:16… you should compare this with Hebrew bible and with ur English bible. it will show you the difference.
And you quoted so many versus from Holy Quran and asked since Quran is giving respect the the earlier revelations, why is Islamic scholars says bible is corrupted….it is because of your translations.
Can you please answer the following questions with regarding your statement?
1. Why there are so many versions of bible. ?Allah didn’t send so many versions of injeel
2. In the complete Bible, contains 73 books. However, the Protestant Bible i.e. the King James Version contains only 66 books and they consider 7 books of Old Testament to be a apocrypha ie., a doubtful authority. Why is one bible 73 and other one 66??
3. And as I said earlier in John 3:16 mentions begotten but RSV and NRSV has not mentioned that word.
4. Where is the verse matthew 17:21 in RSV & NRSV. It is missing.
So Once again We Muslims believe in all the messengers and revelations. No Muslim is a Muslim who don’t believe in them. We will not say it is injeel and Torah is corrupted if it was in original versions.
And Of course we will say it is corrupted if there are added and omitted versions by humans. Allah will not send down a corrupted version.
So the answer for your questions –
– when did corruption happened?
– who did it???
Instead of asking the above questions to Muslims, please ask ur eminent Christian scholars..Ask them from where did they translate it. If there is a translation of something, they would have read the original version too they cant blindly translate something. so I would ask you to find the original version from them who translated it and don’t ask this question to Muslim, u know why because it is said that the final revelation is the Glorious Quran and the original version is still with us.
and your 3rd Question was, is Allah not competent to fulfill his promise ( Quran 15:9). This is the verse u quoted.
Answer is , Brother You mis quoted it. it is not talking about the previous revelations. You know what Quran 15:9 says “Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an, We will be its guardian”.
It is talking about the Holy Quran.
You told ur audience that it is talking about the old revelations and you told them he will be guardian to bible and other revelations and y are Muslims saying it is corrupted. This is wat u told to ur audience.
This is ur weakness. Don’t take bits and pieces from here and there. Read it fully if u really wanna know the truth.and read both bible and Quran to understand it more better.
And for your kind information, like your bible has been translated by humans, even Quran has been translated in many languages, ofcourse for understanding. But since it is been translated by humans, kindly analyze it twice or thrice with the original version to get the correct verse.
“to b continued…Insha Allah ( God willing) 🙂 “
Dear Rehab,
Looks like you have taken lot of time and effort to put up your rebuttal to the above videos. I appreciate your effort and the respect with which you expressed yourself. You have mentioned too many issues here. I’ll address some of them.

My answer:
In some of the English translation of John 3:16 use the word ‘begotten’ for the Greek word ‘monogenes.’ The Greek word ‘monogenes’ means ‘unique’ or ‘one of its/his kind’ or ‘special.’ Even in English the word ‘begotten’ (beget) has several meanings such as ‘sire,’ ‘generate,’ ‘bring about,’ ‘give rise to’ etc. (please check that yourself at https://www.google.com/#q=beget). The English translators used the word ‘begotten’ in order to convey the meaning that Jesus Christ is the special/unique Son of God who was generated by God. But other translations used other words because some unintelligent or corrupt people might misunderstand or misrepresent the word ‘begotten.’ Such people will only look to just one meaning of the word like begotten=sire, but close their eyes to begotten=generate or begotten=brought about etc.
Psalm 2:7 is a prophecy about the coming Messiah! It is not about David. The same verse has been quoted in the New Testament (Christian Scriptures) explaining that it is about the Messiah (Heb.1:5). Please don’t mix it up.
You wrote:

My answer:
Many Muslims ask us the same question again and again. Please try to understand this is wrong way of argument. In fact, it’s a hypocritical or double-standard argument. Unfortunately Muslim scholars like Ahmad Deedat, Zakir Naik use these arguments. For example, you being a Muslim believe that Muhammad is the last prophet and the final messenger. You also believe that Jesus (Isa) is the Messiah, right? But if I ask you, like you did, show me from the Quran one unequivocal statement where Muhammad himself says, ‘I am the last prophet’ and ‘I am the final messenger’ and also where Jesus (Isa) says, ‘I am the Messiah!’ Can you show that? No! You cannot. But does that prove anything? Nothing! So please don’t ask us hypocritical or double-standard questions.

My answer:
Jesus is both God and man at the same time but in different sense. He came into this world to give His live as an atoning sacrifice to take away our sins. He also came to show us how to live holy and perfect life before God. He is the best model for all. In the above verse Jesus is showing us how to pray to God in the difficult times. He is setting an example so that we can follow Him in our difficult situations asking God to help, but at the same time acknowledging God’s sovereignty over our lives. That’s what Jesus showed us. He is not running from it, but leaving us an example. Please see that important point here!

My answer:
You are totally wrong! Jesus is not asking God, ‘God please save me! He is praying to His Father and submitting himself to the Father’s will. That is why he is even asking God to forgive those who were persecuting him. This is what the true final and greatest prophet and savior said!

My answer:
Please read the whole Bible properly. The Bible does not contradict, but the people who are misguided and corrupt think that it is contradicting. You may check out for yourself this truth at: Harmony of the post-resurrection accounts!
